Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd and ACWA Power signed a Memorandum of Understanding on June 13 to promote cooperation and explore opportunities for green energy projects. This MoU outlines joint efforts to seek opportunities and partnership on green hydrogen and green ammonia projects. This collaboration extends beyond ACWA Power's current operational areas in the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia to include the rest of the world, such as China. The MoU also aims to enhance cooperation on more fronts including the development and application of green hydrogen technologies.

Sinopec and ACWA Power are both corporate leaders in energy transition. The MoU will promote joint efforts to explore green energy future through collaboration in deeper and wider dimensions.
